Two small things worth knowing about in this release: a new newsletter opt-in at registration, and a tidier Account page.
NEW: Get the Smagpie Coaching Newsletter
Registering for a Smagpie account now shows a simple checkbox: Send me the Smagpie Coaching Newsletter. It’s unchecked by default, so it’s entirely up to you — and if you do check it, every email includes a one-click unsubscribe if you ever change your mind.
Parents and districts get their own version of this on the /trust page — a subscribe option for sub-processor change notices, separate from the coaching newsletter.
Account page tidy-up
The Delete your account option used to sit on its own card, always visible, on your Account page. It’s now tucked into a collapsed section at the bottom of the page — the same feature and the same flow, just out of the way unless you’re actually looking for it.
Coaches who’d rather stay in the loop by email: the newsletter checkbox is right there the next time you register a new account, or ask a teammate registering theirs to check the box.
