A training log that actually shows up — and a chase list to go with it

For All Coaches

If your training logs have felt like they never quite worked, that’s because they didn’t — until now. This release fixes the root cause, and builds the two pages coaches and athletes actually need on top of it: a full history view, and a coach’s chase list. We’ve also got a few releases’ worth of smaller improvements to catch you up on.

Training logs, finally reliable

Training logs had a silent catch: the feature only started working after a coach opened Team Settings → Training Log and pressed Save, even if nothing was changed. If you turned it on and never touched that screen again, your athletes never saw it. That’s fixed — training logs now work correctly for any team that’s ever saved that settings page.

New school, college, and private-coach programs now get training logs turned on automatically the moment the team is created — Weekly cadence, Monday reminders, nothing to configure. Club teams and other program types still start off, since logs aren’t typically part of their routine, but any coach can turn it on in Team Settings whenever they’re ready.

NEW: Training Log History — the whole story, not just this week

Athletes now have a dedicated history page showing how they’ve been feeling over time — a trend line, quick-jump chips for topics they’ve actually answered about, and a full table of past check-ins. Filter by the last 3 months, the last 12, all-time, or pick your own range.

Coaches get the same view for any athlete on their team, read-only — open it straight from that athlete’s dashboard to see the pattern, not just the latest entry.

NEW: The Coach Chase List

The old training-log drawer buried at the bottom of Coach Hub is gone. In its place: a one-line status strip at the top of Coach Hub (“5 to chase,” “All seen”) and a full page under Team Management → Training Logs.

The page leads with exactly who still needs to check in — last log date, when they were last reminded — and gives you a one-tap Remind for one athlete or everyone who’s behind. Every reminder carries your name, so it reads as a real nudge from their coach, not an automated ping. Mark a submitted log “seen” with a thumbs-up and move on.

Also new: Workout category descriptions

Workout library categories can now carry a full description, not just a title — perfect for explaining the reasoning behind a training block, a periodization phase, or a category of movements. Coaches edit descriptions inline from the manage-categories screen, with a clean 2-line preview and a “Show more” to expand.

Fixes & polish

It’s been a few releases since our last update — here’s everything else worth knowing:

  • The name you enter when registering (“What do your athletes call you?”) now actually saves — it was being silently dropped, forcing a trip to the profile page to set it again.
  • Tapping an exercise on a read-only workout — an assigned workout you’re viewing, or one a coach is reviewing — now opens full exercise details (equipment, muscle groups, notes), not just a demo video.
  • Fixed a routing bug in the training plan editor where “View workout detail” could bounce to a not-found page, or occasionally open the wrong library.
  • 140 translated strings that were quietly falling back to English — mostly muscle-group and measurement labels — are now properly localized across Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian.
  • A round of account security hardening under the hood, with no changes to how you sign in.

Coaches who’ve been chasing training logs through DMs and sticky notes: the new Team Management → Training Logs page is built for exactly that job. Go take a look.

How this helps your coaching

  • For team coaches:

A new Training Logs page leads with who still needs to check in, and a one-tap Remind sends a nudge that's clearly from you, not a robot. New programs get training logs turned on automatically.

  • For athletes:

A new History page shows your own check-in trend over time, plus every prompt you've answered, filterable by date range.

  • For everyone:

Workout library categories can now carry a full description, and a batch of fixes from the last few releases — from display names to workout detail navigation — are cleaned up.
