Share your referral link
Share your referral link. A coach who creates their team with it gets a free Athlete Pass. Once their team has 5 paid athletes, your team earns 2 free Athlete Passes — then 1 more for every 10 after that, for their team’s first 24 months. Passes your team earns are never taken back.
Your link is in Team Settings → Referrals, under Your referral link. Click Copy link and paste it into a text or an email, or click Share to send it from your phone with a short note about the free pass. It opens the sign-up page with Create Organization chosen and your code already filled in under Referral code (optional), and it shows the other coach your team’s name so they know whose link it is.
A free Athlete Pass for the team you refer
The coach you refer now gets something too: their team starts with one free Athlete Pass in its pool, so they can try the full athlete experience with one of their athletes from day one.
Forgot to enter the code at sign-up? A new team can still enter it once, under Were you referred? in Team Settings → Referrals, within 30 days of creating the team and before it buys any passes. The free pass comes with it.
Your team earns sooner
Your team used to earn one pass for every 10 passes bought on a team you referred. Now the first reward comes at 5 paid athletes, and it’s 2 free Athlete Passes. After that, your team earns 1 more for every 10 (at 15, 25, 35 and so on). Paid athletes count every pass bought on that team in its first 24 months, whether the coach bought them for the team or an athlete bought their own.
Each team you refer counts on its own, for its own first 24 months, and passes your team has earned are never taken back. To keep earning after that, refer another coach.
The Referrals panel
Team Settings → Referrals now leads with your link, explains the program in one paragraph, and lists every team you’ve referred: when they joined, how many paid athletes they have, how many passes they’ve earned your team, the last day their purchases count (Earns passes through), and when the next one comes in. Referral passes earned shows your total, and the passes are counted in Free Earned on License Management. Your team’s head coach gets a notification when a coach signs up with your link and each time your team earns passes.

Rewards are always free Athlete Passes for your team. Know a coach who’d use Smagpie? Send them your link, and tell us in Discord when your first referral comes in.
